Eyelet White Dress

Eyelet White Dress

When I think of summer, eyelet and white are two things that come to mind regarding summer fashion. When I saw this Off The Shoulder Eyelet Dress, I knew it would be perfect for Summer date nights or brunch with the girls. I like that the fabric is cotton so you can really dress it up or down depending on the occasion. Today I am off to have a little staycation with some of my very special teacher friends. I have worked with these girls for the last two years and some of them for the last 5 years. We are planning on going out for Mexican food, hanging by the pool (please stop raining Texas!) and doing whatever silly things come our way. I can't wait! You can see more of our staycation by following via snapchat: "theteacherdiva"         Outfit Details: Rebecca Minkoff Off the Shoulder Eyelet Dress c/o | Dolce Vita Wedges ( I found that they ran a tad small so I went up a 1/2 size) | Rebecca Minkoff

Off The Shoulder

Off The Shoulder

Summer is here and off the should er tops could not be more in for the season. This mint green version is one of my favorite off the shoulder tops. The embroidered hemline makes it fun and summery, and the color is so fresh and looks great with a tan (or faux tan if you're like me). This green color looks so pretty with denim or with your favorite white pants for a softer pastel vibe. Off the shoulder tops are definitely a must try for the Summer! See below for more of my favorite OTS picks. Happy Shopping! xx   Outfit Details: Vava By Joy Han Off The Shoulder Top (wearing a small // not sheer) | Rag & Bone Boyfriend Jeans (size down) Similar pair (under $80 | Forever 21 Crossbody Bag  | Harvest Sunglasses | Lipstick color Candy Pop | Off The Shoulder Favorites |  ...

Crochet Lace

Crochet Lace

White is an essential all year long, but especially during Summer. This little top (under $35) could not be more perfect for warmer weather and the crochet details make it so pretty and feminine. I felt like I needed some color so I added these earrings for a pop of color and threw on some light denim. This was an easy look for our date night on Saturday and my Gigi New York Tote (15% off with code FRIENDS15) is always the perfect tote for running around. This whole look will be worn on repeat this summer! Outfit Details: Chicwish Crochet Sleeveless Top (fits like a small/medium || nice quality, just shipping takes 10-12 days) | Blank Denim (also seen here) | Karen Walker Harvest Sunglasses (identical under $10)  | Jessica ...

Striped Boyfriend Blouse

Striped Boyfriend Blouse

Hi everyone and happy Monday! I know last week I wasn't around too much and that is only because it was the last week of school. If you are a teacher or have friends who are teachers, you only know how crazy it can be! With that being said, I am very excited that Summer is here and I am super excited to work on some exciting projects that have been on hold during these next few months. Now, let's talk stripes. This is a print that will always be a favorite of mine and if you saw my closet you would know I have a hard time saying no to a striped top. However, this past year, I started cleaning out the things I never wear and really looking for those key pieces that will always be in style and remain a wardrobe staple. Like this Striped Button Down Blouse (similar style here and here) . When it comes to stripes, I typically buy black and white or navy and white, but this grey/blue and white combo really sold me. The versatility is endless! Thanks for reading! xx

Pink Silk Blouse

Pink Silk Blouse

Over the past year, I've really been trying to invest in wardrobe staples that don't seem to go out of style. As much as I love a silk blouse, they can definitely be hard on the wallet. Equipment is one of my favorite brands for silk pieces, but recently I tried this version from Vince Camuto (and it's under $100!) Being the sucker that I am for a classic, silk blouse, this was hard to pass up. I love this with shorts, white pants, or  these boyfriend jeans. What are some of your favorite brands for silk tops?          Outfit Details: Vince Caumto Silk Blouse in Pink Taffy (similar here) | Denim (true to size // more sizes here) |

Floral Romper

Floral Romper

When I think of my Summer wardrobe, I think of easy, light and fun. This Floral Romper (also worn here) fits my typical Summer look so well. I love the ease of this playsuit. I don't usually wear a lot of rompers, but this one has to be my favorite. The fabric is (somewhat) fitted and I like the structure. It definitely doesn't feel or look like PJ's as opposed to some rompers you may have seen.  I've actually worn this quite a few times dressed up with these heels or dressed more casual with these wedges. This playsuit is the perfect solution to brunch, date night, or better yet- girls night! Thanks for reading and happy almost Friday! xx    Outfit Details: ASOS Floral Romper (true to size, wearing a 4) | Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mab Tote Crossbody | J Crew Denim Jacket (i found this to fit a little big, I ...

Stripes & Pink Flats

Stripes & Pink Flats

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. It was pouring in Dallas, so with the exception of brunch with my Mom and Sis-In-Law, the day was spent mostly at home inside! Today I wanted to share a laid back look from last weekend. If you've been reading this blog, you probably have noticed that I love casual outfit. It's not that I don't like to dress up, but I just feel most comfortable in a pair of jeans! Anyone else like that? This striped top (under $20) is one of my favorite basics and I love that it's long enough to be worn with leggings, white pants, or boyfriend jeans like I styled here. Yosi Samra is one of my favorite retailers for ballet flats, but I was really excited when I got a pair of their Preslie Loafers. These are so comfy and I love the perforated leather. These will be on my feet all summer long!      Outfit Details: She Inside Striped Top (wearing a medium (wish I tried the small!) great quality, shipping takes about 10-12 days) | Blank Denim

Gingham Tunic

Gingham Tunic

As we start to transition into Summer, I find myself reaching for more and more of my printed tops and dresses. This Gingham Tunic has been calling my name and I have been looking forward to wearing it. To be honest, this is the first gingham piece that I own, but now I can see why it's such a summer time favorite. I've already worn it twice and have plans to wear it this weekend as well! Get 20% off with code 'STEPINTOSUMMER'. A lot of you have been asking about my school year and how many more days of school we have. Well, my year has been great (my class is awesome!) but I am definitely looking forward to summer! We have only 11 more days left! Isn't that crazy? I think every teacher is counting down the days, but we I am still enjoying this precious time with my sweet class!
